The BendTECH Startup Resource Fair was a wonderful event to get to be a part of. You walk into this beautiful building made to be part of the outdoors. You take a quick walk down the hall to a wonderful coffee shop with slide up doors to have an open seating area, both inside and out. As we were one of the first groups to start setting up our booth we got to hear the slow buzz of companies coming in to prepare for the multitude of conversations that are about to be had. As you walk through the hall, the co-working space, and the coffee shop you get to see amazing companies and hold conversations with the founders.
There was a lot of fun to be had at the Startup Resource Fair with beer, coffee, food, learning, and if you stopped by the get-benefits table we even had games. There were many new entrepreneurs who came to learn about many aspects of starting a new business and let me tell you this was a great event to come and learn. Not only did you get to have conversations with CEO’s, financial advisors, insurance brokers, and more. We even had the privilege of a free advice panel that brought an even greater clarity to the process of creating a new business. Some of the speakers that we had were Karnopp Peterson, Summit Bank, Pam Stevenson, and our very own Mark Ehl was asked to speak. It was a great time had by all, and I look forward to the next event that BendTECH puts on. Thank you to BendTech and all the sponsors that helped make the Startup Resource Fair a possibility and thank you for doing it well.
